In the courses I've studied, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of journalism and media. In feature writing, I learned how to craft engaging narratives that go beyond mere reporting focusing on storytelling techniques that captivate readers. This course emphasized the importance of human interest elements, research, and the art of interviewing enabling me to create compelling features that resonate with audiences. 

The history of journalism provided me with a contextual backdrop highlighting the evolution of news reporting from its inception to the digital age. I explored significant influential figures and the changing role of journalism in society which has helped me appreciate the profession's impact on public discourse and democracy.

In the key terms in media and key terminology in media courses, I became familiar with essential vocabulary and concepts that are foundational to understanding media practices and theories This knowledge is crucial for effective communication within the industry and for analyzing media content critically.

Media ethics and laws taught me the moral responsibilities that journalists and media professionals bear. I examined case studies that highlighted ethical dilemmas and the legal frameworks that govern media practices. This understanding equips me to navigate the complexities of ethical decision-making in my future career.

Lastly, the English objectives course has likely improved my writing and analytical skills, enhancing my ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively. Together, these courses have provided me with a better vocabulary and more understanding of grammar and a  better knowledge preparing me for the challenges and responsibilities of working in the media landscape. Overall, I've developed a strong foundation in both the practical and theoretical aspects of journalism and media studies.
